Joanna L. Casey, DDS
Dr. Joanna Casey grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Truman State University and graduated with a degree in Health Science. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. She practiced as an associate in Olathe for three and a half years before starting her practice in Overland Park, Kansas. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and getting to know their families.
Dr. Casey and her team strive to deliver on time appointments in a friendly, relaxed environment. They are passionate about educating patients about their oral health and risk factors for other related health problems such as obstructive sleep apnea. She enjoys working as a team with other colleagues in the dental and medical specialties to help patients receive optimal care. Her office is also equipt with treatment chairs that allow for heat and massage to help patients feel more relaxed.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, 5th District Dental Society and attends regular continuing education opportunities to stay on top of advances in dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Casey enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading mystery books and doing work around the yard.
Alyna- RDH
Alyna is a 2016 graduate of the dental hygiene program at Johnson County Community College. Alyna was able to help out at Dr. Casey's office as an assistant in 2015 as well as fill in for hygiene. She is excited to join the crew full time and hopes to continue the wonderful care already being received.
Alyna grew jup in Mid-Missouri, but has also lived in Georgia and Tennessee before finally making a home in Johnson County. She spends her time with her husband and daughter cheering on the Royals, hiking in the woods, and indoors baking and creating art.
Liz - Office Manager
Liz started working as the office manager for Joanna L. Casey DDS, LLC in 2014. She received her BFA in 2010 majoring in Graphic Design from the University of Central Missouri. She has enjoyed learning about dentistry, getting to know her patients and helping make their visits pleasant and comfortable. Liz grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri and in her free time enjoys traveling, reading and updating her first home. She and her husband Tim live in Independence with their dog Bronn.
Becky - Dental Assistant
Becky grew up in Rolla, Miissouri. From there, she graduated from the University of Missouri- Columbia in 2017 with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. She moved to Overland Park in 2019 with her boyfriend and she has come to love the Kansas City area. Becky has always loved working with all age groups and looks forward to interacting with patients every day. She hopes to further her education in the dental field. When Becky is not spoiling her dog and two cats, she enjoys bouldering, traveling, cheering on the Chiefs, and spending time with friends.
